Learn the simplest trick in SEO

Beginner should use this simple SEO trick

If you are new to the world of internet marketing or new to the world of search engines, where do you go to find the information that is needed in order to make your site work for you when it comes to SEO? There are many different sources for information about SEO but you can find a lot of that information right here in this particular article. This will be a basic primer on how and what SEO is and how to use it in the correct fashion. So what is SEO? That is short for search engine optimization.

This means that a site must be optimized so that a search engine can find it. This consists of having pertinent keywords that relate to your business or what you are selling. These keywords need to be placed so many times in a site in order to have the search “spiders” crawl your site and rank it. The information that is included in this site will include such things as links to other sites that are similar to yours, freshly written and created content that takes a different view of the subject in question as well as contact information so that a potential client can contact you.

It may also contain photos or graphics. Be aware that too many graphics will turn someone off and make the site too busy looking. When you are crafting an SEO site, you need to remember to follow certain rules that are laid down by the particular search engines themselves for submission. Failure to follow these rules will disable your site. These rules will include such things as keyword stuffing, which is putting too many keywords on your site that are not relevant nor have any relation to the site itself.

There has been at least one occurrence of someone doing just that, and they were blackballed from ever posting on the internet again through any search engine. This is a clear cut warning to avoid this type of practice. Bear in mind that SEO is still developing and changing. With the addition of organic searching, SEO will be changing once again. The rules for SEO have been set by the WC3 which governs the internet. When you are writing content of this sort, be aware that you need to keep the reader’s attention and keep them reading your site and hook them.

This is the way that SEO works and with this article, you can begin to work with SEO like a professional. If you will follow the advice of the article and remember several stumbling blocks, you will have no trouble in working with SEO. This isn’t a complicated issue but can be confusing to some that are not familiar with the workings of SEO. So when you are unfamiliar with SEO, just grab this article and read it! You will then have a basic knowledge of SEO and know how to create a site using SEO. Have fun and remember to keep your cool when working with SEO stuff.

It takes some research and creativity to find the right money-generating tools for your blog

It’s all a matter of your personal tastes for your blog. There are many to choose from

In previous parts of this series, I showed how using Google Adsense and other affiliate programs will generate profits from your blog. However, there are even more options to monetize your blog. Here are a few to consider.

The first option to consider is Chitika. What is Chitika you ask? Chitika is a very innovative contextual advertising program because it can serve very detailed advertisements to your blog that fit perfectly with your blog theme.

For example, on your technological gadget blog, Chitika will show advertisements for tech gadgets such as iPods. They show them in different tabs: one for another for another for and or on www.atoz-about-rss.com. This way, it is more of an informational section for your visitor rather than a blatant advertisement, and naturally the click-through will be higher. You can apply at chitika.com

If your blog/website has been around for a while and has a decent amount of traffic, you can also be an affiliate for Amazon.com. Amazon offers a wide range of products but its predominant niche is in physical books. And, like Adsense, you can select Ad blocks that display products that fit your blog perfectly. Whatever your niche is about, you can probably find a book about it on Amazon.com.

Keep in mind though; they do NOT pay big bucks. You can refer visitors to them and earn up to 10% commission. Its not a lot of money but, if you can manage to refer big volumes of visitors, Amazon is for you. You need to read their Terms of Service.

This program really shines when it comes to the ways you can refer visitors:

You can use their predefined templates to pull up recent items that match a certain criteria you set.

You can target your ad to show a specific item on sale.

You can just simply weave your referral links into your blog posts.

Every dime helps so join their Associate program if you are into selling hard and soft cover books.

Last, but definitely not least, you can sell advertising space on your blog if your blog is truly popular. Just take a look at blogs like: xiaxue.blogspot.com. That blog receives over 10,000 page views every day and naturally merchants make deals with the blog owner to post their advertisements there. If you manage to pull in huge amounts of traffic like that blog, you can definitely get people to buy ad space on your blog for prices from $150/month upwards, depending on your blog popularity.

To gauge how many page views and visitors you get everyday, just use the free tool I use. Get it at statcounter.com. Their setup guide is very detailed so I cannot go into it here.

If your blog has not acquired a large amount of visitors yet, you can still sell ad space on your page on a per click or per impression basis. Visit adbrite.com and for a complete list of these sites, visit performancing.com.

This is just one in a 6 part series that should help you drive readers to your blog and maximize earnings and profits from your blog! Yes, it is possible to quit your day job through blogging or you can visit www.blog-and-ping.com. All that stands between you and freedom is working smarter, and sometimes harder, towards your goal. It is a balance. Eventually, after you have worked harder, you will be able to work smarter.

I edit 15 blogs. It took 6 months of learning and working harder before I was able to work smarter and begin making extra income.

I did not jump on every offer and I rejected those marketers who claimed I could make overnight riches with no work on my part. In fact, I have spent less than $100.00 so far for my blog!

There is no reason not to use SEO for Adsense sites

Explaining the things you should do for your Adsense site

If you’ve been using Google AdSense on your pages you obviously feel the need to somehow generate even more traffic for your website, which in turn would translate to more AdSense click and a higher income.

But who do you do this? Well, the major way you’ll get visitors to see your website (other then using AdWords, which is encouraged as well) is to use some techniques to have search engines send more and more users towards your page, by ranking high in search results for your topics of interest.

Believe it or not this is a technique, better known as search-engine optimization or simply SEO. So here are a bunch of tips that come handy under every amateur or professional optimizer’s belt.

The first thing you need to take care of is the actual source code and layout of your page. This has to be kept as simple as possible. The problem comes when AdSense and the search engines themselves begin to have troubles in extracting the most relevant keywords on your site because of a too complex layout.

Secondly, try to have each one of your pages target only one specific topic. This way it is a lot easier for them to get indexed properly and for the AdSense ads to be consistent with the content of the site itself.

Also, try not to include too many hyperlinks in your page as well. This also means you should try not to use too many AdSense ads on your page either.

If there are certain keywords you wish to target, make sure the word you wish to target is present in the title, in the first paragraphs as well as in the name of the file. While you’re at it you might want to ensure the word springs up in the page’s last paragraphs.

And of course, it’s very important for your content to have original and compelling content. How do you do this? Well the easiest way to do it is to find something you’re really passionate about. That way, providing you give it a lot of effort you’re bound to have a great page quite fast.

If the content you use in your site is in the public domain (which is highly discouraged) make sure that you at least give it an original title, and add an opening and a closing paragraph of your own.

This takes a little while, but if, after waiting, you still can’t find your page near the top, you should try rewriting your title and your first and last paragraphs. It doesn’t take much, often just changing a few words will give you the right results.

And of, course there’s the use of keyword tools that may aid you in finding some good keywords to include on your page that will drive visitors to your site more and more.

So those are about the basic techniques in search engine optimization. You can find a lot of computer tools to aid you in doing this, and of course, Google is a great place to search for this.

In the end, you’ll find that SEO is a complex topic, and entire books have been written on the topic as well. You might find that you have a lot of optimization you need to do in order to get more and more visitors to your site and clicking those precious AdSense banners.

You need to have optimized niche website templates for best results. You may find the best adsense templates and blog templates at Adsense Big. Adsense Big are offering 100 fresh new templates every month.

What is the advantages of advertising using blogs?

Advertising Your Blog In Your Email Signature: If you have a blog that you are particularly proud of, and that you want to share with other people, there are a lot of free ways that you can get your blog noticed. One of those ways is something that you do everyday, and that you may not even consider as a way to share your blog. Put the link to your blog in your email signature. Chances are that you send out emails more times that you can count during the day, Each time you send out an email, you can do a blog advertising by putting the address of your blog in your email’s signature. It’s always a good idea to write something catchy like, See what I am up to now, or Read my latest chapter of my fanfiction here, depending on what type of blog you have. The thing to remember about putting an advertisement in your signature for your blog is to make it short, but eye-catching. You want people to be interested enough to want to click on it, but you also don’t want to scare them off. Just like it is with any advertisement, you want to give them just enough to be interested and take a closer look at what it is that you are advertising. Think about what it is that your blog is about. What is really going to interest people about it and want to visit That is what you should include in your signature, and that is what is going to get people to go to your blog.

Blogger Forums – A Great Place To Do A Blog Advertising: No matter what type of blog that you have, one of the best places that you can do a blog advertising is to join a blogger forum. After all, everyone who posts there has a blog and that’s the main subject. It’s a great place to meet other bloggers and to do a blog advertising. There are quite a few blogger forums that you can sign up for on the Internet. One is known as Bloggeries, where you can show off your blog, get your blog reviewed or review other blogs, and find lots of tools that you can use for your own blog. Another good place to go is to Blog Forum. Blog Forum, like Bloggeries, has spots for you to market and show off your blog, Blogger forums are a great place to do a blog advertising because everyone in them are of the same mind and want to make certain that their blogs get noticed and read. If you use your blog to do an advertising for something that you are selling, or you want to get a lot of traffic to your blog in order to make money, you want to go someplace where it can get exposure. When you advertise on a blog forum, you know that you are placing your advertisement in a place where blogging is something that people enjoy. Just remember when you are posting to a forum to read the rules and abide by them. That way you’ll get your blog noticed and you will know that you are doing the right things.

Blogging Directories – Great Advertising Venues: If you want to have more people visit your blog, there are plenty of blog directories on the Internet that you can submit your blog to so that people will come and visit it. Most blog directories are listed by the topics that the blogs that are submitted cover. Blog Catalog is a free blog directory that offers categories such as career and jobs, writing, Iraq, and many others. It has features such as featured blogs and other things to offer those who submit their blogs there. Another great place to add your blog is blog-directory.org. Not only do they have an an extensive list of categories with sub categories, you can get your blog reviewed. For the most popular blogs, it shows the amount of hits that blogs have and if they have any reviews. As well as listing by category, the blogs are also listed by location. There are other blog directories on the Internet – these are only a couple of them. But blog directories are a great place to advertise your blog and to make
new friends. You never know what you will find when you browsing through the directory, and you may just find out information that you never knew. Some of the blog directories offer chat features as well, so that you can meet other people easily. As you can see, blog directories are a great place to get your blog noticed and bring people to read your blog and look at your pictures.

Blogging Traffic – Give And Take: Blogging traffic is a give and take relationship. Sometimes one of the best ways to get traffic to your blog is by visiting someone else ’s blog. Go to their blog and read one of their entries, or read a few of them. Chances are that you are going to find something that you have in common. When you find something that you find truly
interesting on a blog, leave a comment so that they know that you were there. One of the best known blogs available is LiveJournal. A great feature of LiveJournal is that you can search
for interests on their site and it will come up with results of those who have that interest. Are you interested in horseback riding You can see what other bloggers are interested in horseback riding as well. When you are commenting on someone’s post, you want to make sure that you don’t leave generic comment. If you like the post, say something about what you read in the post. After you have commented on the person’s post, then you can say something like, ‘I really like horseback riding too. I had a similar experience to yours.’ and
then use it to link back to your journal. But be sure that you sound sincere when you are
commenting, and don’t make them feel like you’re just fishing for traffic. If someone thinks that you are using their blog to get more traffic to yours, they won’t visit your site and your efforts will be wasted.

Join A Community To Advertise Your Blog: Something that you will find, especially if you join something like LiveJournal or GreatestJournal, is that users just like you have created communities for people with common interests. There are communities for just about any subject, and if you find that there isn’t a community for the subject you can create one. This is a great place to advertise your blog. The nice thing about communities is that there isn’t
any limit as to how many communities that you can join. For example, say that you love blogging about books, horseback riding, and skiing in Tahoe. All you have to do is look through the communities for ones that have those interests and join them. As long as you post something related to the topic to the chosen community, people will see you and perhaps
they will check out your personal blog. Something to remember is that you don’t want to write
a post that is one sentence long in order to get people to go to your blog. They will want to know that what you write is interesting and is something worth reading. Joining communities can be a great way to advertise your blog and drive traffic to it. If you are referring to something that you posted about on your blog, you can use a link back to your entry in your post. As with posting comments on someone else blog, you don’t want people to think that you joined a community simply to get traffic to your blog. Otherwise, people won’t visit your blog and you may get banned from the community as well.

Email Groups – Hidden Treasure Troves For Advertising: Something that has become increasingly popular since the Internet has grown are the email groups that are available through Yahoo, MSN, and other venues. They are a great way to meet other people who have a common interest, and are very similar to the communities that are available through blogging sites. There is plenty of diverse subjects and there are communities for just about any subject. These groups can be a great place for people who have a blog about the subject and want to share it with other people. Most of the time when you join a group, you are
encouraged to take a moment and to introduce yourself. This is a great opportunity to do a blog advertising, but make certain that you don’t overdo it. Just like with any of the other places you do a blog advertising, you want to make people want to go to your blog. If you are too overbearing, you will turn people off. If your blog covers different subjects, you can do the advertising on the other groups that cover those subjects as well. Make certain that your post to the groups is interesting and that you let people know what it is that your blog is about. There’s nothing worse than getting taken to a blog under false pretenses. When people visit your blog, make certain that you thank them for visiting and respond to comments that they leave. If they know that you are advertising your products the time that they took, they are more likely to not to come back again.
