Adsense still the best PPC program on earth

Is there any great PPC programs out there?

Even though Adsense seems to deliver the most relevant ads, highest CTRs and best eCPMs, you shouldn’t neglect the other players on the PPC programs market. The top three best pay per click programs are, in this order, Google Adsense, YPN (Yahoo Publisher Network) and Chitika. Other online advertising and contextual advertising programs seem to develop at an amazing rate, but it will be a while before any of them manages to threaten the position of the three main players. The most attractive thing about the programs offered by these providers is that they are fully automated, which means that you only have to paste a string of HTML code into your website and relevant ads will appear in that location instantly or in a very short while.

Google Adsense managed to secure its number one position as the best PPC program by creating a quick and easy to use ad placement and integration procedure. Also, the ads presented through Adsense are often very high payers, and revenues of $10 or $20 per click are not fairytales (multiply these numbers by 20-30 cliks per day, which is what you could expect to have after a couple of months of developing your ad-ready website).

Particularities of the 3 best PPCs

Google Adsense – Adsense is the most popular and effective PPC program. Although you can use the presets offered by Google as far as ad placement and appearance are concerned, you can also modify those to your heart’s content. Another feature that contributes towards the title of “best PPC offer” is the fact that Google sorts the ads for you, only displaying those that are most relevant.

Contextual ads also imply that the program will differentiate between the different meanings of the same word – a site on Java software will display related technical and software-related ads, not tourist information for visitors heading for the Indonesian island of Java. You can also modify and filter the advertiser ads on your site, a fact which allows you to obtain better relevance and higher click through ratios. These are just some of the things that make Google Adsense the most effective PPC choice – you can find out more about it by reading our special Adsense report .

Yahoo Publisher Network – YPN aims to be the best pay per click program by allowing you to generate additional revenue from your site and take advantage of Yahoo! Publisher tools, services and programs. However, YPN is just out of beta, so it’s a very young player on the market. Backed up by Yahoo’s huge resources, YPN has all the chances of becoming a tough competitor for Adsense, and many publishers see this as a great thing, as this will diminish Adsense’s dominance and make both Google and Yahoo offer better deals to webmasters in order to gain supremacy. While the beta version of YPN showed that it is not a perfect program, the bugs are being sorted out and many publishers are using Adsense on one site and YPN on another, then switching after a month or two so as to compare results.

Chitika “the industry’s leading impulse merchandising company” as they say, also offers some interesting pay per click options. Many webmasters were thrilled with the idea that an alternative to Adsense is on the market and deemed Chitika to be the best PPC program. However, although some of them are still loyal Chitika users, others have complained of the low CTR rates. While its hard to make a general statement about this pay per click program, it is widely accepted that Chitika, just like YPN, is still in an infancy phase. However, Chitika has the potential of becoming a great pay per click program (although it would take a miracle to overthrow “Google Adsense” in the near future).

When Google launched Google AdSense for webmasters way back in June 2003, AdWords was still new, people had no clue what contextual advertising meant or how it worked, and most importantly, no one had provided a similar service for the average webmaster (like you and me) for free so far

Two and half years later, things have changed, AdSense has become massive; more and more people everyday are buying into the possibility of earning money, serious money through Google AdSense.

A lot of this has to do with the high competition for keywords on AdWords – as advertisers bid higher and higher, clicks on your site’s Google AdSense ads become more and more valuable. In addition, a large number of services have sprung up to offer similar advertising services. Other pay-per-click advertising sites have been quick to follow the Google model, offering contextual advertisements just like AdSense. What’s more, alternative site advertising models have sprung up, most notable being the contextual algorithms used by Kontera and Vibrant Media, and the product advertising by Chitika, Commission Junction and CBProSense, amongst others.

Google AdSense is still the largest revenue network, and with AdWords being the most popular PPC program available, there’s still great potential for AdSense revenue on your website. Still, you may feel like AdSense is not the thing for you. Maybe you don’t like Google. Or maybe, like me, you’re looking to maximize the revenues from your website. In other words, you may have a number of reasons for looking at advertising alternatives to Google AdSense. In today’s lesson I’ve picked out three serious alternatives for you to consider in place of AdSense. These are:
* Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN)
* Kontera
* Chitika eMiniMalls
Each occupies a different “niche” within the site advertising model – and it’s worth noting that all three may work best for one type of site, but not too well for others.

Yahoo Publishers Network
Yahoo! Publisher Network (or YPN for short) is Yahoo’s response to Google AdSense. In effect, YPN works almost exactly like AdSense – insert a piece of JavaScript code into your site pages, and then wait for the YPN bot to crawl your site and pretty soon you have contextually relevant ads being displayed on your site. YPN is still in beta, and in terms of features, it shows as there are several features available in AdSense that seem to be missing in YPN (lesser ad format options, clunkier code generation, limited color palette options, a limit of 50 ad channels). However, YPN trumps AdSense with one feature that webmasters have been clamoring for ever since Google launched AdSense – the ability to transfer funds from YPN to Yahoo Search Marketing (YSM), provided that you use the same login/email information on both accounts. This is huge in terms of attracting webmasters, but since YSM is still a few steps behind AdWords in popularity, Yahoo will need to do more to attract Google AdSense users.

My own tests coincide with what other search marketing experts have said about “Yahoo’s AdSense” – results are too varied to determine which service delivers better ads or better CTR/CPM. If you want to switch over to YPN just because you want to increase your site revenues, I’d suggest that you test it out on a small section of your site first. Both YPN and Google AdSense have comparable ad relevancy and average earnings per click. This means that at least for now, your choice between the two might be based on something as simple as a preference for either search engine (or if you are actively involved in PPC advertising using YSM).

Kontera
If you own a high-quality content-rich site and enjoy considerable web traffic, you might want to consider a contextual, keyword-based advertising alternative to the Google AdSense model. Kontera provides such a non-obtrusive, highly effective solution. Kontera is unique in the sense that while it is provides ad banners similar to Google AdSense, it also uses keywords within your page text as ads – by underlining them and giving ads in the form of tool tips upon a mouse over of the underlined text (ad). An example of such ads is on SEO Chat (which actually uses a similar service from a different company, Vibrant Media, mentioned later in this section). Load any article on SEO Chat, and you’ll notice that certain keywords in the main article text are underlined. When you bring your mouse pointer over that keyword (don’t click), a simple tool tip will appear.

Kontera’s biggest draw, in my view, is their qualification requirements (150,000 page views per month and 100+ words on a majority of the site pages) which ensure that only content-rich, high quality websites become members of their publishing network. 150,000 page views per month translates into 5,000 page views daily – let’s face it, to get to that level of web traffic, you would need to put in some effort. All in all, the requirements serve to bring in only the best content sites into the program – sites that are focused on providing quality to the customers. In the end, this quality focus also translates into advertisers that are willing to pay big bucks to generate leads from theses sites, thus earning you high EPC (earnings per click) on average.

If you have a site that meets Kontera’s requirements and are interested in seriously exploring unobtrusive, effective contextual advertising, then I would suggest that you snap up a copy of Joel Comm’s Kontera Secrets and use it as your guide in implementing Kontera’s advertising algorithms on your website. Selling at $47 (as of 18th Nov 2005), the e-book is a quick but extremely informative and invaluable read at just 29 pages. Another option in contextual, keyword-tagged advertising in Vibrant Media. It offers similar services to Kontera, with one important distinction – its minimum qualification is 500,000 page views per month. Vibrant Media is the company that powers the ads on SEO Chat.

Chitika
Strictly speaking, Chitika is a product-advertising service that uses both contextual and keyword specific advertising (you can choose one of two) to display product information on your website. Revenue is generated through leads (i.e. clicks), and Chitika pays website owners 60% of their revenue (e.g. if an advertiser bids $1 for an ad for Nike running shoes, and a visitor on your site clicks on that ad, you get $.60). Chitika ads are better known as eMiniMalls – a reference to how convenient it becomes for users to browse through the product advertisement while remaining on your site. This is better seen than explained, so make sure you check the “demo” on the front page of chitika.com.

eMiniMalls can be configured to run both contextually or by manually specifying keywords. Contextual advertising is great if you have a highly targeted content site but if you are just looking to put up ads on a few product review pages (or if you just want to test out eMiniMalls), you can also manually specify keywords for which to show ads. The keyword option also allows you to run eMiniMalls alongside Google AdSense and YPN (as both prohibit the use of other contextual advertising running simultaneously with their ads). A key point to keep in mind when trying out Chitika is that running “product ads” on your website (no matter how informative they might be) is that you have to do your research on which products and keywords have the best paying ads. Otherwise, if the coffeemaker ads on your coffee secrets website only pay you $.05 per click, you might want to switch to something else besides Google Adsense.

One of the keys to creating massive wealth in life is to create multiple income streams of income or passive income

After all, the reason why most people work is to earn a multiple income stream to support their standard of living

When you work in a job, not a multiple income streams to be exact, regardless of the position and level you are in, you are basically trading your time and skills in exchange for a regular paycheck. People who depend solely on their job as the only source of income are highly at risk.

This is because you can only continue to work in your job provided you are healthy and the company and economy is doing well. However, during recessions, with corporate America ever trying to please shareholders and investors, naturally the first thing that comes to mind is cost cutting. This normally translates to layoffs and retrenchments.

Technological advancement brought about the Internet, which was initially used more for research purpose. It was not long before companies, businessman and entrepreneurs discovered the potential of Internet in conducting business.

There are many online business models that can be used to create multiple income streams.

For example, one popular marketing strategy employed by marketers is to set up a one page site offering free gifts or information like an e-course to people who opt-in to their list.

Next, using an auto-responder, they will then follow-up with these prospects seven times or more until eventually they purchase some product either their own, or other people’s products.

Another business model that can be used is Google Adsense, which is becoming increasingly popular. There are frequent stories of ordinary people earning a substanstial amount of passive income each month just based on this method alone.

Today, you can set up an online store, a directory of pages, an affiliate site, a blog for for many, many times lesser than what it would cost you to set up a brick and mortar business.

For less than fifty dollars, you can register a domain name for just $6.95 for one year, sign up with a $9.95 a month web hosting to host unlimited domains and spend the remainder of the money to drive traffic to your sites using pay-per-click programs.

If you want free traffic, you can use a myriad of strategies available to small and medium online business owners, such as article marketing, blogs, rss feeds, podcasts just to name a few.

What has all this got to do with you, you might ask?

Simple. Going back to the fact that one can only work a fixed number of hours in a day, the only way to increase your wealth is to create additional income streams for yourself.

Setting up your own online businesses to create multiple income streams is one of the easiest and most inexpensive ways to do so.

Blogs, or more specifically niche blogs offer the budding entrepreneur the best of both worlds in terms of traffic generation and the flexibility of multiple income streams all on one site.

The idea behind niche blogs is this: Set up a blog on a niche topic, for example acne causes and solutions, post articles on it and add in income streams such as Adsense, Amazon, Chitika and even Clickbank.

Next, use the blog’s built in rss feeds and submit them to rss directories to start driving traffic to the niche blog.

The result? You’ve just created your first stream of passive income.

Imagine creating 10, 50, 100, 1000 of these niche blogs. How many streams of income would you have created? You can create a niche blog in basically any niche, for example coin collection, keeping aquariums, candle making just to name a few.

Start taking charge of your financial future now and create your own multiple income streams with niche blogs.

Chitika are doing great here

You may have noticed an interesting new kind of advertising that has taken the internet by storm over the last few months called the Chitika “eMiniMall”. It displays targeted product advertisements, with a picture, descriptive text, and some useful features. Google AdSense ads will appeal to a certain type of reader. One who has been desensitized to loud, colorful ads may still read a text ad that blends nicely with the site. The Chitika ad, however, may attract attention from the user whose eye might be caught by an interesting picture, and the chance to get some quick information on a cool product. The eMiniMall is a tiny tabbed pane, which allows the user to get a description, reviews, and the best prices for the given item. If the item isn’t what you want, there’s a search tab to allow you to search the Chitika partner sites, without even leaving the page.

So the question on everyone’s mind is whether this is going to be as big as Google AdSense. I think the answer is that they are very different animals, and they might compliment each other nicely. Google AdSense text ads are designed to be unobtrusive. Unless you pick clashing colors, they blend nicely with the site on which they’re displayed. The Chitika ads, while not ugly, tend to catch the eye more with their pictures and tabs. Once they’ve caught the eye, they offer the added advantage of allowing the user to interact with the ad without even leaving the page. The hope, clearly, is that the user will become interested enough at some point to click on an ad.

The good news is that the Terms and Conditions of both companies are compatible. You can display Chitika eMiniMalls on the same page as Google AdSense ads. The only catch is the Chitika ads cannot be run in “contextual” mode. Google ads, as you probably know by now, are tailored to the content on the current page. A Google crawler looks at the content of the page, and atttempts to serve up relevant ads that will be more likely to result in clickthroughs.

Chitika, similarly, has the capability to serve up relevant products based on the text of your page. It displays targeted product advertisements, with a picture, descriptive text, and some useful features. The eMiniMall is a tiny tabbed pane, which allows the user to get a description, reviews, and the best prices for the given item. If the item isn’t what you want, there’s a search tab to allow you to search the Chitika partner sites, without even leaving the page. The Google terms and conditions specifically prohibit displaying contextual ads on the same page as AdSense ads, however. Thankfully Chitika offers an easy way to turn this feature off. In fact, so many people use Chitika in conjunction with AdSense, that contextual mode is turned off by default when you sign up for Chitika.

Which one better, Adsense or Chitika?

Let’s talk about Adsense and Chitika competition

Having been around for a long time, Adsense is the grandfather of contextual advertising
and has the largest base of publishers competing for the ads it serves comparing to other similar program, such as Chitika. Chitika has only a few publishers so far but is likely to grow fast especially as it has a referral program paying 10% commissions.

Appearance: Adsense ads are primarily text ads that fit into about 10 standard sizes from 728×90 to
120×600, 468×60 and others. There are a limited number of image ads created by advertisers and pre-approved
by Google. When an image ad runs it tends to fill the whole ad block. Chitika ads come in the same standard
sizes but every single ad space is filled with a hybrid of text and image but, crucially, promoting just one
product from one advertiser. Further, one consistent feature across the Chitika ads is the interactivity.
Each ad has a selection of tabs which change the content of the ad block when a visitor hovers over them.
The tabs provide information like “Best Deals” where prices for that product are compared across different sources,
“Reviews”, and even a “Search” box that allows your visitors to search for and get results for similar products
without them having to leave your page.

Terms of Service: Adsense has a fairly restrictive set of terms that you have to agree to. They’ve been
modified numerous times and when fine tuned are made more rather than less restrictive. Among the things
publishers are not allowed to do are to change the Adsense code, specify keywords that ads should be targeted to,
and have more than three blocks of ads on a page. None of those apply to the Chitika program. There are other
Adsense specific rules that don’t apply to Chitika.

Features: Adsense has added several features over the last 2-3 years. They include channels – a way of
identifying which pages are better earners. It’s not perfect and isn’t anywhere near as efficient as a click
tracker program but it’s more than what Chitika have; though they are planning a channels feature soon. Adsense
also provides better stats data (and analysis), AdLinks and other minor improvements. Chitika, on the other hand,
has some interesting features we’ve never seen in Adsense. They include targeting a particular product or
advertiser in an ad block so it always shows the same product/advertiser, rotating keywords per refresh or by the
day of the week, changing the font and colour of the text in the ad (Adsense offers only colour change, not font
and font size), enabling and disabling contextual serving of ads, enabling and disabling the search function within
ads, and a lot more.

Contextual serving:Adsense serves ads based on the context of the page. Chitika does the same but has the
option of turning context off. Webmasters can choose to either run it in contextual mode or specify the
keywords/products they want the ads targeted to. Note: When running Chitika on the same page as Adsense ads
you need to turn the Chitika contextual engine off to stay within Adsense terms and conditions.

Referral program: Adsense has a new referral program that pays you $100 if you refer someone who signs
up as a publisher provided that referral earns $100. Chitika pays a flat 10% of what your referral earns and pays
that for a period of twelve months from the date of signup.

Earnings: Which pays more? It depends. Chitika can pay very well but it takes a slightly different mindset
to what you may have become accustomed to with Adsense. If you have the patience to learn about it Chitika could
prove very profitable particularly if you combine it with Adsense. Our sites tells you how to run them both safely
on the same page without violating the legal agreements.

This isn’t an exhaustive comparison of their very detailed legal terms of service but we hope we’ve whetted your
appetite to find out more about Chitika.

If you feels something wrong with Chitika

Then you may having a problem with Chitika

All I have to say is WOW, I haven’t seen this kind of vitriol since the last Democratic Convention, and all directed toward Chitika, a startup ad company that was supposed to be the Google killer. Their crime? Cutting people’s revenue checks after they’ve earned the money. Not a great PR move. And it looks like there are more problems with what, on the surface, looks like a great idea. I have to admit I don’t understand how anyone (including Chitika) makes any money with their revenue model.

Darren Rouse of problogger.net, who I respect immensely (and who makes a couple hundred grand a year blogging), has really flogged the heck out of Chitika. Right from the start I had trouble understanding how they were going to make any money.

Chitika Mini Malls allow you to sell specific products (merchandise) within the pages of your website or blog. The ads boast the best price for a specific product, and then allow the user to click to (supposedly) buy the product. They also include tabs for search and other functionality built right into the banner-like ad.

Publishers can choose to show ads by keyword (they pick the words), or by page context like Google (having both ads in contextual mode on your site violates Google’s terms of service).

Apparently Chitika has deals with companies like Shopping.com, Ubid and others to share in clickthroughs. Or they may just go through channeladvisor.com, a syndicator of content for the major shopping sites (which explains why they all have the same content).

From my comfortable chair I can see where the trouble begins. When someone comes to Shopping.com they’re looking for something, whether it is duck boots from L.L. Bean or a battery charger from Sears, and they’re looking for the best price, presumably so they can buy the product (it’s not called just looking around.com. It’s shopping.com.

So Bean or Sears doesn’t mind paying Shopping.com fifteen cents or a quarter or whatever to get the person to press the buy button, because they know the person is ready to put down the credit card number.

I’m not sure moving that model out to my web site is going to pay off in a pay-per-click model. Back when we did CASIE-award winning (5 awards actually) campaigns for John Hancock, the goal was to capture someone having a specific life event such as having a baby, marriage, graduation, etc., and get them to Hancock. The presumption was that they would be ready to buy. Chances are if they saw a banner that said Ready to tie the knot? Are you covered? or some such thing and they clicked, they were ready to buy, and it would have been worth paying for the click.

Shopping.com is similar. If you’re there, the life event is a new TV (not quite as profound as marriage, but important just the same).

I’m not sure how much a click on the Best price for a TV MiniMall ad by someone who is not ready to buy a TV is actually worth. Remember, they haven’t come to Shopping.com. Shopping.com has come to them.

Keeping that in mind (the value of a click from my site vs. the value of a click from the Shopping.com site), all of the controversy makes perfect sense.

Let’s start with the auditing fiasco. They told a bunch of publishers how much oney they made from people clicking on the ads, then decided to take back some of it. They claimed to be taking back money from clicks from countries where the products couldn’t be shipped and accounting for click fraud. While this is annoying, I can understand it, though I’m not quite sure how they could examine every click and figure this stuff out, especially when rumor has it the system isn’t exactly a technological powerhouse. In fact, according to Shoemoney.com, the technology is a PHP ripoff.

So they threw out a few clicks, right. Big deal. But here’s where Chitika crossed the Rubicon as far as I’m concerned — they decided that they were going to filter out what they called curiosity clicks, which they loosely defined as clicks that are not likely to result in a sale.

Wait a minute here…no one said anything about sales. As I mention in my previous article about Pay-per-click advertising, the publishers responsibility in the pay-per-click model is to get the user to click. The rest of the chain is then out of the publisher’s hands.

Chitika has basically created its own model here, and I call it Pay-per-selected-click. They are, in effect, deciding that some clicks are more valuable than others. Specifically they are saying that clicks resulting in sales are better than clicks not resulting in sales. Viola! They have invented Pay-per-Sale (or Pay-per-Action for those semanticists in the audience).

Other people call it BS. Actually so do I. I think it is dishonest to tell publishers that you will pay them for every click and then decide which clicks to pay for. That’s like telling the lottery agent that you’ll buy the tickets now for $1 each, but you’re coming back after the drawing to return the ones that didn’t win for your dollar back.

Put another way, if you’re giving away 70% of what you earn (60% to the publisher and 10% to his referring publishers), you can’t be throwing around dollar bills. And if your model is stupid (which this one clearly is), you need to pull some hocus-pocus man-behind-the-curtain give-with-one-hand-and-take-away-with-the-other kind of magic.

The most amusing part of this has to be picturing the look on the marketing weenie’s faces at L.L. Bean and Sears when the bill for a million clicks comes in and they find that they made four sales.

The bottom line here is that in this context (selling someone merchandise) a click from Shopping.com has more value than a click from Bobsblog.com.

Chitika turned me down for an account. They said that I didn’t meet the qualifications. Darren Rouse says that web sites that are product centered. Chitika says the same thing.

This proves my point even more. If a website is product centered (in other words reviews computers or exhalts the virtues of a Palm Pilot), then the fact that you are on that site means you have some interest in the product. Your Chitika MiniMall is the Buy It Now for that product. This means that there won’t be as many curiosity clicks, and Chitika won’t take as much of your earnings back.

You are getting subjected to Pay-Per-Action criteria with Pay-Per-Click rewards. If you want to see how publishers are reacting to this, you might want to Google Chitika sucks, or look up one of the anti-Chitika web sites like Shitika.com. Jensense also has a nice synopsis you might want to take a look at.

Without looking I’m going to guess that the angry people are the ones furthest from Shopping.com in content and model, and the ones who had the least taken off their earnings are more product centered (whatever the hell that means).

Chitika claims to be The Leader in Impulse Merchandising. Their model puts a different spin on the word context. For their ads to work, you have to be predisposed toward purchasing the product on one of their banners, and the theme of the site on which the ad appears is the actual context of the ad, not the keywords you supply or context Chitika uses to choose the banner.

I’d replace Chitika with a Pay-Per-Action ad that fits the theme of your site. If you’re lazy stick with them, at least until they either change the model so they make more money or go out of business. At this point I’m not sure which Chitika ads to bet on.

What is Chitika? Let’s find out!

For who doesn’t knows about Chitika, yet, let’s admit it. We all use Google at some point in our life. And in finding advertisements we use Google AdSense. If you want a change of heart, hearing the phrases should I use Chitika? You better! Chitika is a fast growing internet advertisement search engine.

If I were a searcher, should I use Chitika? Chitika offers a much more precise search engine. Chitika localized its searches bringing the items that are much closer to you in the top priority. Chitika also takes a new spin in the process of search finding the advertisements. Focusing on content rather than word count, Chitika has a principle of what the article website has or says rather than the times a certain keyword appears in the topic.

If I were a publisher, should I use Chitika? Yes, do you know that it purveys certain features for you to use. Like changing the text and even adding simple images beside your link. Chitika also allows the changing of the border color. So for those of you who want to color coordinate your company’s colors to your links, this is the way for you to go!

Whether you are a consumer or a prospective client, Chitika offers a new take on the old flavor of internet ad searches. Chitika is a service which is gaining popularity. So come and join the band wagon and experience fast and on-the-money searches! Still thinking “should I use Chitika?” Yes, you better use it now. Be on the next ladder of advertising online.

In May 2007, Chitika offered their version of in-text advertising called Chitika | Linx. Chitika | Linx automatically identifies key products/keywords mentioned in the content on a website or blog and hyperlink (double underline) those keywords to interactive paid (CPC-based) product listings featuring best deals, offers and promotions from name brand merchants. When users mouse-over these links, a small bubble-like scroll over is revealed listing offers from merchants.

In June 2007, Chitika launched a new service at www.Shlogging.com. It is a next generation e-commerce portal driven by a community of users to determine the best deals on and off the Internet.

In July 2007, Chitika developed an application for users on Facebook called iBought. This widget gave users the ability to show off products they recently purchased and gave them access to thousands of product deals.

In February 2008, Chitika released Related Product Unit (RPU), a PPC ad unit designed to work exclusively for blogs and news- or article-based sites. The RPU brings related products right to the user reading a product-oriented story. The RPU quickly became its highest-earning ad unit to date and publisher favorite because of its easy integration and simple, non-intrusive ad format.

In this same month, it is also released a Viral Branding Unit (VBU), which was created to bring the power of video and interactivity to advertisers. This video-based ad unit took online video branding to a new level with interactive features not yet available in any other ad unit on the web. The innovation led to its nomination as an MITX Tech Awards Finalist.

In March 2008, Chitika announced the availability for CPM in addition to CPC Graphic Ad Units. These ads display a relevant and targeted banner/graphic ad on web pages only when it will earn the publisher more revenue than the default CPC ad unit being displayed.

Chitika for Parked Domains was released March 2008. The first domain service to pay users on the first click to the merchant listings.
