If you know how to make money, skip this post

Here are my weekly money savings tips:

1. Maintain a good credit score! It will save you thousands of dollars in the short and long term when you need to borrow money to buy a car or a home. Creditors will give you an interest rate and the loan amount based on your income and credit score.

2. Large sums of money should NEVER be left in a checking account or even a low-interest bank savings account. Rather, put the money into a high interest savings account (like an ING savings), money market fund, or other forms of short term high interest investments with a fixed return.

3. If you have an employer matching 401K plan, maximize your contributions, so that you double your money!

4. Set aside 10% of your paycheck towards some form of long term savings account, like a money market account, mutual fund, retirement plan, or 401K. As you pay amount increases, your contribution will also increase automatically. 10% will also ensure that you stay ahead of inflation.

5. One of the best investments you can make is to first pay off all your high credit card debts. Credit cards typically carry a high interest rate and by paying off these debts, you get one of the best returns available which also is tax-free.

6. If you are losing sleep over an investment, whether its a stock, mutual fund, or retirement plan, its not worth it! Your lack of sleep is probably a good indication that it may be too risky, too good to be true, or just not the right invesment for you.

7. If an investment is projecting returns that are just too good to be true, they probably are. Unless you are intimately involved in the investment or are an insider, an investment that sounds too good to be true is probably too ambitious, too risky or just a scam.

8. Before you invest in something, always do your own research. Consulting with others and getting a second opinion is good, but you need to investigate for yourself. The internet is typically the best source for lots of information but make sure you read enough or get relevant data.

9. Always negotiate for commissions or fees paid for financial or real estate advice. Don’t be misled by standard commissions and “non-negotiable fees”. It is your money and the experts work for you.

10. Can’t get out of debt? If you are having problems meeting your debt payments each month and feel like you are digging a deeper hole, go talk to your creditors and banks to find a solution to get out of the mess. Beware of debt consolidators as they could charge higher interests in the long term and get you even deeper into debt.

It is when someone links to your site from his webpage. And when you have more links to your web site, your rank goes up. The better quality of the link is, the better ranking boost your site receives in search results.

How to get such links?
There are many ways to develop a high number of incominig links to your website.

A similar method may be used when you have only one website, but your linking partner has 2 or more websites – ask for link to your site from one of his sites, and link back to his OTHER website in exchange.
3. context linking – writing articles with links to your website in the article text (target your keyphrases or keywords!), or sponsoring other articles, that have high Google PR
4. automatic link building – with a help of an automated link building system

11) How/Where to register domain name ?

It used to be so easy to do a blog monetizing

Then it changed after many people are doing blog monetizing

Blog monetizing has increased in popularity since its inception. The irony is that the original blogs were not at all designed with profit in mind. They were meant to be primarily informational and hopefully entertaining, well some of them wanted to be entertaining. The original blogs were essentially logs of articles that could be found about particular subjects or interests online. The real beauty of the original blogs is that they were excellent resources to some quite obscure information that might have otherwise been overlooked or missed in the research process (not all good information has been optimized for Google or other search engines).

The idea of blogging for profit, while not entirely new has taken on new meaning in the last couple of years. Gone are the days when Google ruled the roost. There are other monetizing options for today’s blogs and today’s bloggers. Many blogs are turning towards information marketing, affiliate programs, and other Google alternatives such as Chitika eMiniMalls, Amazon, and yahoo for starters. Each of these options offers something attractive to those who have either been spurned by Google or find themselves dismayed by their slow progress.

Google is probably the most popular service for monetizing blogs. It is also a stickler for strict adherence, which is not necessarily a bad thing if you’ve managed to understand all the rules. You really need to take your time and read and understand everything fully about Google before signing up. I will say that while I have had some degree of success with Google, I am not really making enough money by Google alone to make it worthwhile, particularly with the rather high minimum payout rate. To each his or her own however, and I’m sure that many of you will find Google more than adequate for your blog monetizing needs.

Of the many, I’ve heard mixed reviews on Chitika eMiniMalls. This is one that really does need to reach a targeted market. I have a gadget blog that I have found some degree of success with these particular adds on while these ads did not fare as well in some of my other blogs. The general opinion about Chitika is that it works well if the ads are targeted to your audience. If you are dealing with techies and have articles about iPods and PDAs you will do better than if you are targeting tired housewives. However, Chitika isn’t limited to gadgets, they have other ads as well. See if any of their ads fit into your niche before writing them off. I also recommend a few weeks of trying and playing around with ad placement before deciding against them as well. You only need to have earned $10 in order to receive a payout from them unlike Google and you can use these (provided you follow the rules set forth-check the website for details) along with Google ads on your site.

The important thing to remember when monetizing your blog is that you are not limited to one or two options, you have many. Check them all out, play around with them and see which options can be used in conjunction with other similar options. You just might be surprised at how much more money you can earn by choosing the underdog monetizing program.

When you don’t make money online, you should read this

There are many ways to make money online but you’ve got to get out there and do it. The seven techniques described below can get you off to a good start, so get busy.

1. If you have a website or blog, you are probably familiar with Adsense. This is one of the easiest ways to make money online. You merely add a short bit of code to your site and Google will post ads that are related to the content. Each time someone clicks on an ad, you make money. It is among the easiest and maintenance free ways to sell advertising space online. Google does all the work and you collect the checks.

2. Although Adsense is the best-known advertiser, there are other services that perform similar services. Yahoo! Publisher Network works like Adsense and is a good alternative to Google’s program. And like Adsense, you make money each time someone clicks on one of the ads.

3. Chitika is another service that can make you money. Based on your site’s content, Chitika will automatically place ads for related products on your website or blog. When people buy products through your ads, you collect a commission and make money. The earnings you make through Chitika can be deposited directly into your PayPal account.

4. Amazon works similar to Chitika. By entering a bit of code, they will automatically place related ads on your site. Amazon has very broad list of products that they offer.

5. If you have developed your own product or service, you can sell it through your website or blog. It is quite easy to set this up. You do not need a merchant account or complicated checkout procedure; these services are readily available and quite inexpensive.

6. Set up an affiliate account with Clickbank to sell digital products. Clickbank has over 10,000 products to choose from so you are sure to find something that you can promote. This is a very popular and potentially profitable option. You only job is to send visitors to the product sales page. When someone makes a purchase, you get paid.

7. Email marketing has become very popular and is a great way to make money. You can develop a list by offering a free report to anyone who subscribes to your list. Then you can email them about special products and deals that you are promoting. With a good list, you can expect to make money online about one dollar a month for each subscriber in your list.

We’ve discussed about using Google Adsense and other merchants’ affiliate programs to generate profits from your blog

However, here are even more options to monetize your blog

The first option we’ll be looking for our blog is Chitika. What is Chitika you ask? Chitika is a very innovative contextual advertising program because it can serve very detailed advertisements to your blog that fit perfectly with your blog theme. For example, on your technological gadget blog, Chitika will show advertisements for tech gadgets such as iPods. They show them in different tabs: one for “Best Deals”, another for “Details”, another for “Reviews” and so on. This way, it is more of an informational section for your visitor rather than a blatant advertisement, and naturally the click-through will be higher. You can apply at chitika.com

You can also be an affiliate for Amazon.com. Amazon offers a wide range of products but its predominant niche is in physical books. And, like Adsense, you can select Ad blocks that display products that fit your blog perfectly. Whatever your niche is about, you can probably find a book about it on Amazon.com. Keep in mind though, they do NOT pay big bucks. You can refer visitors to them and earn up to 10% commission. It’s not a lot but if you can manage to refer big volumes of visitors, Amazon is for you. This program really shines when it comes to the ways you can refer visitors: you can use their predefined templates to pull up recent items that match a certain criteria you set, you can target your ad to show a specific item on sale or you can just simply weave your referral links into your blog posts. Every dime helps so join their Associate program if you are into selling hard and soft cover books.

Last, but definitely not least, you can sell advertising space on your homepage if your blog is truly popular. Just take a look at blogs like: xiaxue.blogspot.com. That blog receives over 10,000 pageviews every day and naturally merchants will want to strike a deal with the blog’s owner to post their advertisements there. If you manage to pull in huge amounts of traffic like that blog, you can definitely get people to buy ad space on your blog for prices from $150/month upwards, depending on your blog popularity.

To gauge how many pageviews and visitors you get everyday, just use the free tool available at statcounter.com. They have a very detailed setup guide there so I won’t go into it.

If your blog has not acquired a large amount of visitors yet, you can still sell ad space on your blog on a per click or per impression basis. Just visit sites like: adbrite.com. For a complete list of these sites, visit: performancing.com.

This is just one in a 6 part series that should help you drive readers to your blog and maximize earnings and profits from your blog! Yes, it is possible to quit your day job through blogging. All that stands between you and freedom is working smarter, and sometimes harder, towards your goal. It’s a balance. Eventually, after you have worked harder, you will be able to work smarter.

I edit 15 blogs. It took 6 months of learning and working harder before I was able to work smarter and begin making extra income.

I did not jump on every offer and rejected those marketers who claimed I could make overnight riches with no work on my part. In fact, I have spent less than $100.00! You can do this too to your blog!

It’s all a matter of your personal tastes for your blog. There are many to choose from

In previous parts of this series, I showed how using Google Adsense and other affiliate programs will generate profits from your blog. However, there are even more options to monetize your blog. Here are a few to consider.

The first option to consider is Chitika. What is Chitika you ask? Chitika is a very innovative contextual advertising program because it can serve very detailed advertisements to your blog that fit perfectly with your blog theme.

For example, on your technological gadget blog, Chitika will show advertisements for tech gadgets such as iPods. This way, it is more of an informational section for your visitor rather than a blatant advertisement, and naturally the click-through will be higher. You can apply at chitika.com

Keep in mind though; they do NOT pay big bucks. You can refer visitors to them and earn up to 10% commission. Its not a lot of money but, if you can manage to refer big volumes of visitors, Amazon is for you. You need to read their Terms of Service.

This program really shines when it comes to the ways you can refer visitors:

Adsense still the best PPC program on earth

Is there any great PPC programs out there?

Even though Adsense seems to deliver the most relevant ads, highest CTRs and best eCPMs, you shouldn’t neglect the other players on the PPC programs market. The top three best pay per click programs are, in this order, Google Adsense, YPN (Yahoo Publisher Network) and Chitika. Other online advertising and contextual advertising programs seem to develop at an amazing rate, but it will be a while before any of them manages to threaten the position of the three main players. The most attractive thing about the programs offered by these providers is that they are fully automated, which means that you only have to paste a string of HTML code into your website and relevant ads will appear in that location instantly or in a very short while.

Google Adsense managed to secure its number one position as the best PPC program by creating a quick and easy to use ad placement and integration procedure. Also, the ads presented through Adsense are often very high payers, and revenues of $10 or $20 per click are not fairytales (multiply these numbers by 20-30 cliks per day, which is what you could expect to have after a couple of months of developing your ad-ready website).

Particularities of the 3 best PPCs

Google Adsense – Adsense is the most popular and effective PPC program. Although you can use the presets offered by Google as far as ad placement and appearance are concerned, you can also modify those to your heart’s content. Another feature that contributes towards the title of “best PPC offer” is the fact that Google sorts the ads for you, only displaying those that are most relevant.

Contextual ads also imply that the program will differentiate between the different meanings of the same word – a site on Java software will display related technical and software-related ads, not tourist information for visitors heading for the Indonesian island of Java. You can also modify and filter the advertiser ads on your site, a fact which allows you to obtain better relevance and higher click through ratios. These are just some of the things that make Google Adsense the most effective PPC choice – you can find out more about it by reading our special Adsense report .

Yahoo Publisher Network – YPN aims to be the best pay per click program by allowing you to generate additional revenue from your site and take advantage of Yahoo! Publisher tools, services and programs. However, YPN is just out of beta, so it’s a very young player on the market. Backed up by Yahoo’s huge resources, YPN has all the chances of becoming a tough competitor for Adsense, and many publishers see this as a great thing, as this will diminish Adsense’s dominance and make both Google and Yahoo offer better deals to webmasters in order to gain supremacy. While the beta version of YPN showed that it is not a perfect program, the bugs are being sorted out and many publishers are using Adsense on one site and YPN on another, then switching after a month or two so as to compare results.

Chitika “the industry’s leading impulse merchandising company” as they say, also offers some interesting pay per click options. Many webmasters were thrilled with the idea that an alternative to Adsense is on the market and deemed Chitika to be the best PPC program. However, although some of them are still loyal Chitika users, others have complained of the low CTR rates. While its hard to make a general statement about this pay per click program, it is widely accepted that Chitika, just like YPN, is still in an infancy phase. However, Chitika has the potential of becoming a great pay per click program (although it would take a miracle to overthrow “Google Adsense” in the near future). For more PPC programs tips and guides on getting started, please see the author/resource box.

When Google launched Google AdSense for webmasters way back in June 2003, AdWords was still new, people had no clue what contextual advertising meant or how it worked, and most importantly, no one had provided a similar service for the average webmaster (like you and me) for free so far

Two and half years later, things have changed, AdSense has become massive; more and more people everyday are buying into the possibility of earning money, serious money through Google AdSense.

A lot of this has to do with the high competition for keywords on AdWords – as advertisers bid higher and higher, clicks on your site’s Google AdSense ads become more and more valuable. In addition, a large number of services have sprung up to offer similar advertising services. Other pay-per-click advertising sites have been quick to follow the Google model, offering contextual advertisements just like AdSense. What’s more, alternative site advertising models have sprung up, most notable being the contextual algorithms used by Kontera and Vibrant Media, and the product advertising by Chitika, Commission Junction and CBProSense, amongst others.

Google AdSense is still the largest revenue network, and with AdWords being the most popular PPC program available, there’s still great potential for AdSense revenue on your website. Still, you may feel like AdSense is not the thing for you. Maybe you don’t like Google. Or maybe, like me, you’re looking to maximize the revenues from your website. In other words, you may have a number of reasons for looking at advertising alternatives to Google AdSense. In today’s lesson I’ve picked out three serious alternatives for you to consider in place of AdSense. These are:
* Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN)
* Kontera
* Chitika eMiniMalls
Each occupies a different “niche” within the site advertising model – and it’s worth noting that all three may work best for one type of site, but not too well for others.

Yahoo Publishers Network
Yahoo! Publisher Network (or YPN for short) is Yahoo’s response to Google AdSense. In effect, YPN works almost exactly like AdSense – insert a piece of JavaScript code into your site pages, and then wait for the YPN bot to crawl your site and pretty soon you have contextually relevant ads being displayed on your site. YPN is still in beta, and in terms of features, it shows as there are several features available in AdSense that seem to be missing in YPN (lesser ad format options, clunkier code generation, limited color palette options, a limit of 50 ad channels). However, YPN trumps AdSense with one feature that webmasters have been clamoring for ever since Google launched AdSense – the ability to transfer funds from YPN to Yahoo Search Marketing (YSM), provided that you use the same login/email information on both accounts. This is huge in terms of attracting webmasters, but since YSM is still a few steps behind AdWords in popularity, Yahoo will need to do more to attract Google AdSense users.

My own tests coincide with what other search marketing experts have said about “Yahoo’s AdSense” – results are too varied to determine which service delivers better ads or better CTR/CPM. If you want to switch over to YPN just because you want to increase your site revenues, I’d suggest that you test it out on a small section of your site first. Both YPN and Google AdSense have comparable ad relevancy and average earnings per click. This means that at least for now, your choice between the two might be based on something as simple as a preference for either search engine (or if you are actively involved in PPC advertising using YSM).

Kontera
If you own a high-quality content-rich site and enjoy considerable web traffic, you might want to consider a contextual, keyword-based advertising alternative to the Google AdSense model. Kontera provides such a non-obtrusive, highly effective solution. Kontera is unique in the sense that while it is provides ad banners similar to Google AdSense, it also uses keywords within your page text as ads – by underlining them and giving ads in the form of tool tips upon a mouse over of the underlined text (ad). An example of such ads is on SEO Chat (which actually uses a similar service from a different company, Vibrant Media, mentioned later in this section). Load any article on SEO Chat, and you’ll notice that certain keywords in the main article text are underlined. When you bring your mouse pointer over that keyword (don’t click), a simple tool tip will appear.

Kontera’s biggest draw, in my view, is their qualification requirements (150,000 page views per month and 100+ words on a majority of the site pages) which ensure that only content-rich, high quality websites become members of their publishing network. 150,000 page views per month translates into 5,000 page views daily – let’s face it, to get to that level of web traffic, you would need to put in some effort. All in all, the requirements serve to bring in only the best content sites into the program – sites that are focused on providing quality to the customers. In the end, this quality focus also translates into advertisers that are willing to pay big bucks to generate leads from theses sites, thus earning you high EPC (earnings per click) on average.

If you have a site that meets Kontera’s requirements and are interested in seriously exploring unobtrusive, effective contextual advertising, then I would suggest that you snap up a copy of Joel Comm’s Kontera Secrets and use it as your guide in implementing Kontera’s advertising algorithms on your website. Selling at $47 (as of 18th Nov 2005), the e-book is a quick but extremely informative and invaluable read at just 29 pages. Another option in contextual, keyword-tagged advertising in Vibrant Media. It offers similar services to Kontera, with one important distinction – its minimum qualification is 500,000 page views per month. Vibrant Media is the company that powers the ads on SEO Chat.

Chitika
Strictly speaking, Chitika is a product-advertising service that uses both contextual and keyword specific advertising (you can choose one of two) to display product information on your website. Revenue is generated through leads (i.e. clicks), and Chitika pays website owners 60% of their revenue (e.g. if an advertiser bids $1 for an ad for Nike running shoes, and a visitor on your site clicks on that ad, you get $.60). Chitika ads are better known as eMiniMalls – a reference to how convenient it becomes for users to browse through the product advertisement while remaining on your site. This is better seen than explained, so make sure you check the “demo” on the front page of chitika.com.

eMiniMalls can be configured to run both contextually or by manually specifying keywords. Contextual advertising is great if you have a highly targeted content site but if you are just looking to put up ads on a few product review pages (or if you just want to test out eMiniMalls), you can also manually specify keywords for which to show ads. The keyword option also allows you to run eMiniMalls alongside Google AdSense and YPN (as both prohibit the use of other contextual advertising running simultaneously with their ads). A key point to keep in mind when trying out Chitika is that running “product ads” on your website (no matter how informative they might be) is that you have to do your research on which products and keywords have the best paying ads. Otherwise, if the coffeemaker ads on your coffee secrets website only pay you $.05 per click, you might want to switch to something else besides Google Adsense.

Have you ever dealing with public service ads?

How to get rid of these public service ads?

Many of us start out with websites that we want to generate some income with, so we think that Google is the one and only solution to our desire or even our need to earn some extra money, but sometimes it doesn’t run perfectly because you have public service ads appearing on your site. And, it’s fair to say that a lot of money can be made with the use of Google ads on one’s website, but only if they work correctly. Money is made on these ads when relevant ads are posted on our website so that visitors can click on them and we can be compensated for every click! Unfortunately, a good deal of the time one will visit their website only to find that public service ads have been placed on their website by Google, and these ads don’t pay at all when your visitors click on them.

You can report the fact that you have had a lot of public service ads on your website to Google, but generally there is not much that Google can do about it. The public service ads are placed on your website when relevant or targeted ads are unavailable, or when Google is simply unable to obtain information from the page to display relevant ads. This can be frustrating when for one reason or another ads that pay are not posted on your website continually. The reason that this is so frustrating is that you have only aligned yourself with Google AdSense to make some cash on your website, even if you are not profiting from it in any other manner.

Luckily, if you are tired of seeing public service ads on your website you CAN do something about it. You don’t have to sit by and wait for Google to decide that you are worthy of those ads that pay! You can visit a website such as www.defaultads.com which will show you how to monetize public service ads and even alternate the ads shown when Google AdSense, or Chitika, and other content advertising networks cannot accommodate your needs with targeted ads on your webpage. This awesome website can help you out when you load all of your affiliate or other ads into DefaultAds when it quickly generates a link to include in your Google AdSense alternate ad URL.

This system will allow you to make money when you typically wouldn’t be making any at all! The best thing about this system is that it is totally risk free. You don’t have to worry about the content that will be shown as DefaultAds will only show their ads one out of every 100 impressions and they will be the same size, quality, and will even target the same category that you would target with the Google public service ads!

One of the keys to creating massive wealth in life is to create multiple income streams of income or passive income

After all, the reason why most people work is to earn a multiple income stream to support their standard of living

When you work in a job, not a multiple income streams to be exact, regardless of the position and level you are in, you are basically trading your time and skills in exchange for a regular paycheck. People who depend solely on their job as the only source of income are highly at risk.

This is because you can only continue to work in your job provided you are healthy and the company and economy is doing well. However, during recessions, with corporate America ever trying to please shareholders and investors, naturally the first thing that comes to mind is cost cutting. This normally translates to layoffs and retrenchments.

Technological advancement brought about the Internet, which was initially used more for research purpose. It was not long before companies, businessman and entrepreneurs discovered the potential of Internet in conducting business.

There are many online business models that can be used to create multiple income streams.

For example, one popular marketing strategy employed by marketers is to set up a one page site offering free gifts or information like an e-course to people who opt-in to their list.

Next, using an auto-responder, they will then follow-up with these prospects seven times or more until eventually they purchase some product either their own, or other people’s products.

Another business model that can be used is Google Adsense, which is becoming increasingly popular. There are frequent stories of ordinary people earning a substanstial amount of passive income each month just based on this method alone.

Today, you can set up an online store, a directory of pages, an affiliate site, a blog for for many, many times lesser than what it would cost you to set up a brick and mortar business.

For less than fifty dollars, you can register a domain name for just $6.95 for one year, sign up with a $9.95 a month web hosting to host unlimited domains and spend the remainder of the money to drive traffic to your sites using pay-per-click programs.

If you want free traffic, you can use a myriad of strategies available to small and medium online business owners, such as article marketing, blogs, rss feeds, podcasts just to name a few.

What has all this got to do with you, you might ask?

Simple. Going back to the fact that one can only work a fixed number of hours in a day, the only way to increase your wealth is to create additional income streams for yourself.

Setting up your own online businesses to create multiple income streams is one of the easiest and most inexpensive ways to do so.

Blogs, or more specifically niche blogs offer the budding entrepreneur the best of both worlds in terms of traffic generation and the flexibility of multiple income streams all on one site.

The idea behind niche blogs is this: Set up a blog on a niche topic, for example acne causes and solutions, post articles on it and add in income streams such as Adsense, Amazon, Chitika and even Clickbank.

Next, use the blog’s built in rss feeds and submit them to rss directories to start driving traffic to the niche blog.

The result? You’ve just created your first stream of passive income.

Imagine creating 10, 50, 100, 1000 of these niche blogs. How many streams of income would you have created? You can create a niche blog in basically any niche, for example coin collection, keeping aquariums, candle making just to name a few.

Start taking charge of your financial future now and create your own multiple income streams with niche blogs.

Google Adsense is the leading company in web advertising programs which is a large system of earning for your website

Similar to all other great advertising programs, Google Adsense has well define Terms of Service (ToS) that are required to be strictly followed in order to receive benefits from this great opportunity to earn online

I am sharing some important Google Adsense tips; some mistakes which should be avoid in order to protect your Adsense account from getting banned by Google Adsense. These tips are gathered from the Google Terms and Conditions and information from FAQ at Google Adsense. You may already know some of these tips but those who don’t know or new to Google Adsense web advertising program I would try to explain it in very simple manners.

* Never try to click your own Adsense ads or get them clicked – You know this one very well. This is a surefire way to close you Adsense account. Never tell your office associates or friends to click on them. Keep a check if your family or children are busy increasing your income by clicking your ads and indirectly trying to stop your income. Don’t even think of offering incentives for clicks, using automated clicking tools, or other deceptive software. Adsense is very smart to detect fraudulent clicks. Check the ads which appear on your pages by the Google Preview tool if required.

* Avoid changing the Adsense code – There are enough means of Adsense optimization & customizations available to change the color, background or border to suit your needs. Do whatever you want to do outside the code, never fiddle within the ad or the search code. They know it when you do. The search code has more limitations to color and placement, but you should adhere to the rules. The code may stop working and violates the TOS.

* Do not run competitive contextual text ad or search services – Never run such ads or services on the same site which offer Google Adsense competition in their field. Never try to create link structures resembling the Adsense ads. Never use other competitive search tools on the same pages which have Adsense powered Google search. They do allow affiliate or limited-text links. Update: Google has allowed you to run contextual advertising like Yahoo ads, Chitika etc provided the ads do not resemble Adsense ads.

* Never launch a New Page for clicked ads by default – Adsense ads should open on the same page. You may be using a base target tag to open all links in a new window or frame by default. Correct it now as they do not want new pages opening from clicked ads.

* One Account suffices for multiple websites – You do not need to create 5 accounts for 5 different websites. One account will do. If you live in the fears that if one account is closed down for violation of TOS, believe me they will close all accounts when they find out. You can keep track of clicks by using channels with real time statistics. They will automatically detect the new site and display relevant ads.

* Place ads only on Content Pages – Advertisers pay only for content based ads. Content drives relevant ads. Although you might manage some clicks from error, login, registration, “thank you” or welcome pages, parking pages or pop ups, it will get you out of the program.

* Do not mask ad elements – Alteration of colors and border is a facility to blend or contrast ads as per your site requirements. I have seen many sites where the URL part is of the same color as the background. While blending the ad with your site is a good idea, hiding relevant components of the ads is not allowed. Also do not block the visibility of ads by overlapping images, pop ups, tables etc.

* Keep track of your content – So Adsense is not allowed on several non content pages. But it is also not allowed on several content pages too. Do not add it on web pages with MP3, Video, News Groups, and Image Results. Also exclude any pornographic, hate-related, violent, or illegal content.

* Avoid excessive advertising and keyword stuffing – Although the definition of ‘excessive’ is a gray area and is subject to discretion, yet Google Adsense with correct placement, focused content and high traffic will get you much more income than other programs, so excessive advertising is not required. Keyword stuffing does target better focused ads, but overdoing it is not required.

* Ensure you Language is Supported – Adsense supports “Chinese (simplified), Japanese, Danish, Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, English, Polish, Finnish, Portuguese, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Swedish, Italian and Turkish”. In addition, Adsense for search is available in Czech, Slovak, and Traditional Chinese. If your web pages language is not supported, do not use the code on such pages.

* Do not specify Google ads as your alternate ads – Several services like Chitika eMiniMalls allow you to place alternate URLs, when a targeted paying ad cannot be displayed. This involved creating a simple html page and putting the ad to be displayed instead. Even Adsense allows an alternate URL feature instead of displaying public service ads. But never use Adsense ads as alternate URLs.

* Do not confuse with adjacent images – It was a common policy to increase CTR by placing same number of images as the number of text ads, which falsely gave the impression that the text ads represented an explanation to these images. Inserting a small space or a line between the images and ads is not allowed. Make sure that the ads and images are not arranged in a way that could easily mislead or confuse your visitors.

It is always better to inquire for Adsense help from the educated staff of Google Adsense. This way you can avoid the common mistakes that could ban your Google Adsense Account.
